Indian FriendFinder is a Z-specific online dating destination from FriendFinder California Inc. It is very similar to FriendFinder.com but with an Indian twist. Both Indian singles and people looking to hook up with Indian singles should think about tapping into the millions of members listed on Indian FriendFinder worldwide.

Pros:
- Very strong membership numbers
- Established brand
- Nice customer service
- Lots of photo options

Cons:
- Basically no options for non-paying members
- Not many profile options
- Weak secondary personality tests and blogs/content

Costs:
In theory, Indian FriendFinder is free. But while you can sign up and create an account for free and even receive email from other members for free, you must become a paying member to gain access to other members’ profiles. And because paying members show up on the top of all lists, you’re not likely to get noticed if you don’t pay. Silver members pay $19.99 for one month, $33.99 for 3 or $99.99 for 12. Silver gets you all of the communication methods, but not all access to blogs, videos and the like. Gold membership (which gets you everything) runs $29.99 for one month, $59.99 for four months or $139.99 for 18 months.

Account Setup:
Creating an account is as easy as filling out 10 stock questions (ie “How tall are you?” “What is your build?”) and waiting for your confirmation password in the email. Not a ton of secondary options in your profile though – this is a definitely a site for daters rather than people looking to network socially.

Photos:
Photos are especially important on Indian FriendFinder. Not only are you allowed up to 20 photos (and for Gold members, you can make yours extra large) but a crucial chat option is the ‘Flash chat’ where your photos show as a slide show during chat with a fellow member.

Search:
There are so many members on Indian FriendFinder, that you are likely to find the answer to any search you can come up with. Every place from California to Thailand is covered, with dozens of languages to boot. Since Gold members pop up on the top, you’ll always be wading through them first. And there are a lot of Gold members on Indian FriendFinder

Special Features:
The Flash chat is relatively one of a kind, a members’ video forum is fun and some of the blogs are worth reading. No real secondary personality tests and no chemistry.com-style match-ups, although the patented cupid system does a fair job of matching you up with like-minded daters.

Communication:
Flash chat, “regular” AIM style chat and the good old Facebook style profile messages. No A/V chat, no site-chaperoned telephone service.

Support:
All paying members gain access to a 24/7 toll free hotline on top of the site generated email address. Strong customer service at Indian FriendFinder.

Indian FriendFinder is a fine enough site. It’s got a strong engine from a respected brand. It lacks a little bit in the realm of special features but it really excels in the fields of customer support, members photo and video and especially, membership numbers. Unlike many other Z-specific sites which tend to be full of other ethnicities or religions or general types that the site bills itself for, Indian FriendFinder is definitely full of and dedicated to Indians. If you’re looking for an Indian or are one yourself, this is a smart place to be.
