JDate announces its 3rd Annual Whitewater Rafting Trip

JDate.com stands out among the top Jewish dating sites for its active program of live events, which range from meet-and-greet gatherings in various cities to a matchmaking flight to New Zealand. This week they are announcing an upcoming whitewater rafting adventure for singles only.

On August 14-16, all interested JDaters will have an adventure experience and a chance to mingle and flirt with likeminded singles while rafting down the famous South Fork American River rapids near the Chili Bar Reservoir in Lotus, California. South Fork American River rafting is a 21-mile run just 45 minutes from Sacramento, and it is famous as the most popular whitewater run in California, suitable for novices and more experienced rafters alike.

The 3-day itinerary will be as follows:

Friday August 14 – Complimentary camping at the JDate campground for those who want to start early.

Saturday August 15 – Official start of the event, with a breakfast to meet all fellow rafters before taking to the river with rafts, life vests and expert guides. After a 10.5-mile ride down the Chili Bar, rafters will stop over at Camp Lotus for dinner and a night of luxurious camping under the stars.

Sunday August 16 – After an early breakfast, rafters will tackle an 11-mile run, going over rapids with names as colorful as Haystack Canyon, Lost Hat, Satan’s Cesspool and Hospital Bar. After the run is over, rafters will say their farewells, swap phone numbers and emails, and go back to their original meeting point.

The costs for joining this adventure matchmaking trip are:
$300 per person if booking before July 15, 2009
$325 per person if booking after July 15, 2009
$275 per person for JDate Subscribers
$10 - Sleeping bag and Pad rental

The package includes A two-day South Fork American 21-mile Class II-III+ whitewater rafting trip, 2-night personal tent rental (4-man size), two breakfasts, two lunches and one dinner.
