LDS Singles Online is a wonderful addition to the Spark Network in part, because of its unique cost structure. Rather than contain 2-4 different sub-strata of paying memberships with different privileges, LDS Singles Online has two types of members: those who pay and those who do not. Paying members gain access to the Spark Network special feature Compass in addition to communication privileges with other members. Costs run $14.99 for one month, $35.97 for three months and $59.94 for six months.

Account Setup:
It’s a simple process creating your account on LDS Singles Online: answer fifteen or so stock questions (i.e. your height, weight, etc, etc) and poof! You’ll have an account. Of course, you can also spend hours upon hours fleshing your profile out with pictures, essays, secondary personality tests – tons to do if you want to do it on LDS Singles Online.

Photos:
Members are allowed to upload more than a dozen photos onto their profile (not to mention sort them into distinct album galleries) provided, of course, that the pictures are actually of them and non-explicit.

Search:
Profiles can be weeded out through regular search engine searches, album style layout of members, through the forums, through the secondary personality tests – rest assured that you’ll be able to search out whomever you want on LDS Singles Online.

Special Features:
This Spark Network super-site comes with all of the bells and whistles: Compass, the forums, strong AIM style chat with Audio and Visual components and those fantastic secondary personality tests that the Industry has come to expect from Spark.

Communication:
Even though the account is free, communication has a price. In order to gain access to the forums, the AIM style chats with A/V options, Facebook.com style profile posts and member communication privileges – you will have to become a paying member.

Spark Network’s sites are always worth your while, and LDS Singles Online is no exception. As there are two Latter Day Saints options in the Spark universe, LDS Singles Online and LDSMingle.com, this reviewer would point you to the LDS Singles Online version first as it is both more detailed graphically and full of a few extra features not available to LDSMingle.com members. A strong site for anyone looking for a Mormon companion.
