Account Setup:
Creating an account is as easy as answering 10 or so stock questions and creating a Yahoo! email account (where your emails from other members of Yahoo! Personals will go). Of course, if you want to take the time and answer all of the 100 or so stock questions and upload multiple pictures and captions, go ahead and take all of the time you want. But for the bare minimum, you are looking at no more than a ten minute process.

Search:
A rather voluminous number of advanced search options on Yahoo! Personals. Not only can you search by filtering any number of answers to the 100 or so stock multiple choice questions, you have the luxury of scouring through millions upon millions of other members. Special Features:
Yahoo! Personals is like a great station wagon – reliable, functional… but not all that special. No Audio/Visual options, no surprise features – a decent amount of site-generated content is basically the only special feature. Come to Yahoo! Personals to meet people the old fashioned online dating way, not to play with all of the latest bells and whistles.
Communication:
In the world of online dating, there are basically 4 ways to communicate: A/V chat, emails, profile messaging and live chat. Yahoo! Personals has the profile messaging, the live chat and the emails… just no A/V options. Of course, you can always Skype the members you come across on your own.
Support:
An outstanding FAQs section answers every question we could come up with but if you end up needing to contact Yahoo! for some reason, there is a site-generated email address which promptly answers questions.

It’s hard not to appreciate Yahoo! Personals. Jaw-dropping membership numbers, a strong brand and enough servers to ensure that any delays you experience on Yahoo! Personals are because your computer can’t keep up. While it is lacking in the way of special features and A/V chat, frankly, you don’t need those features if you are just looking to meet someone and hook up. A strong endorsement for Yahoo! Personals.
